"The Necessary Necker!"

The March special is called the "Necessary Necker" and it is inspired by the famous Nessmuk trio fixed blade. We wanted to come up with a smaller, neck size of this famous design. I think George W. Sears himself would like it allot. The blade itself is 3/32" of O1 tool steel, full grind. OAL is 5 3/4", with a 2 1/2" cutting edge. Scales are natural micarta with brass pins and an unlined lanyard hole.

The included lanyard is a leather thong piece with 2 wooden beads and is designed to act as an extra grip for the pinky when pulling it from the sheath. The sheath itself is another winner form the Cambridge work shop utilizing a traditional pouch style with cross over strap that is the attachment point for the neck piece, which is also a leather thong. This design lets the sheath hang at approximately 45 degrees to allow easy access. Heavy duty stitching and rivets as usual.
