The Woodsman Pro

We have been waiting for the right time to release this knife! It's very exciting for us and we hope you love it as much as we do. Let us release to the world, the Woodsman Pro. What we have in this package is first off, a great woods knife. A hunting knife, a bushcrafting knife, a utility knife, it can handle most tasks with ease.

The grind is something new for us, a Saber grind. The best of everything we think: Thick spine that goes half way down the blade, a secondary edge convex sharpened for superior strength, and a true flat grind that's great for batoning and splitting wood. You can hone it easy enough on a strop and that's always good for field maintenance of the blade. We left the spine sharpened to throw a spark for making fire too.

Spec.'s are coming in at around 8.75 inches long, with a 4 inch cutting edge and a 4.75 inch handle. The steel is 5/32" O1 tool steel so, keep it oiled. There will be all 4 colors offered, black, green, natural, and our signature green/black in a bead-blasted finish. We have incorporated a large, easy to use lanyard hole that will accommodate paracord, leather thong, or just hanging it on a hook at camp. A simple but comfortable handle shape, this has our new larger finger groove that adds a measure of security for all cutting chores.

The sheath is a new design for us as well. Always looking for different retention ideas, this is the first knife offered with the new flap-over with button snap. These are still hand made by us and complete the "Made in the USA" package. We have kept the D-ring dangler and traditional belt loop setup so you still have two different carry options with the new retention. The Woodsman Pro sheath will also have two rivet holes for attaching other gear of your choosing. We are offering both left and right carry and it will also have a fire steel loop.

You can still opt for a traditional sheath with just a simple open top pouch with fire steel loop.

As with all of our heavy duty bush knives, the scales are attached with 2-ton epoxy and large fish eye bolts giving you the best in security and sealing so no fluids get behind the blade to damage it.
